I thought it only fitting to title my first post as the one quote that inspired me to get this show on the road. I have been toying with the idea of starting my own business and blog for a while now and by a while I mean since 2011. Talk about being a procrastinator. I actually did start a tiny little blog back then (RIP Design Pocket), but the timing just wasn't right. I got married, bought a house, changed jobs and had two sweet little nuggets! While all of that fulfilled me personally, something just wasn't fulfilling me creatively.

When someone posted the quote "JUST START" on Instagram it spoke to me in so many ways. Instead of scrolling on to the next post in my feed I sat on this one for a minute. I sat there and thought, why don't I "just start"? What do I have to lose? Everyone starts somewhere right? JUST START!!!

So here I am. Just starting. Just starting to create content that I hope will inspire others. Just starting to design spaces that the end user can be proud of and feel is uniquely their own. Just starting to follow my passion in helping others find happiness with their surroundings. I am just starting people! If I fall flat on my face and fail miserably I am completely ok with that, because I just started and I find no regrets in that.
